Discount Dapper Tip of the Day: Carhartt Reworked

Do you like Carhartt? Me too! And people love it for different reasons; in recent years it seems to have garnered mainstream style attention, and at this point when I see someone wearing it I have no idea if I’m talking to a third year grad student studying art history or a forklift driver. Either way you wear it there is no disputing it’s quality stuff.

Carhartt Reworked is a program by Carhartt dedicated to extending the life of workwear, reducing clothing waste, and keeping previously worn or slightly imperfect gear out of landfills. Launched in March 2023, it is the first branded resale site in the workwear industry.

Through Carhartt Reworked, customers can trade in select gently used Carhartt items, such as outerwear, shirt jacs, bib overalls, coveralls, hoodies, sweatshirts, pants, and jeans. These items are then cleaned, repaired if necessary, and made available for resale, ensuring that durable gear continues to serve those who need it.    • Jordan's Take: I would encourage the readers of this newsletter be open to trying new and different brands, and one that I get great reviews for the quality and fit often is Spider and Mackay.
