Welcome to my brand new "Summer Shoe Series!", a thrilling two-part saga that starts today and ends… next week. That’s right, just two parts. Sure, I probably should’ve started this back in May, but here we are, standing in the middle of Target’s awkward "back-to-school meets summer clearance" aisle, and I’m bringing you the most seasonally irrelevant-yet-entirely-fun shoe tips you didn’t ask for.

I was getting a bit tired of the same white sneakers and Birkenstocks for most of the outdoor events I have been going to lately, and I think the Huarache Sandal is a nice way to mix things up and also stylish enough to earn unsolicited compliments from strangers at farmers markets. “They whisper ‘I’ve traveled,’ even if the farthest you’ve gone is the ‘international aisle’ at Safeway.”

They have added A TON, so if you are in the market for new anything, I would actually suggest to search through everything they have and find out what you need. Also note that some of the items are “Final Sale’, BUT if you are a member (which is a very easy and free sign up), you can return for store credit
