Discount Dapper Tip of the Week

Hi friends! Today’s tip of the week is more of a general shopping tip rather than a fashion tip, and it’s about using shopping portals. I’m not so secretly also a points and miles nerd, so this comes from that world a bit, although this information can certainly be used for clothing and other items.

If you aren’t familiar with shopping portals, the long and short of it is that you can get cash back for doing a lot of the same shopping you are already doing, just by clicking through one link. For example in December I was buying a laptop, (when I should have been shopping for other people) and Rakuten (the largest shopping portal), had 15% back on Lenovo, so I got ~$150 back for the laptop I was going to buy anyway. It’s pretty easy as most of the time I have the Chrome extension plugged in, and it just reminds me to click one button and boom, it’s active.
